Network Pastorals, twitching with energy and haunted by low-bitrate gremlins. Another fantastic work of art: Ferraro sets his palette out and gets to work soundtracking our gradual dehumanisation.

As dark, funky and unsettling as CV always have been. First half is foggy, menacing dub haunted by digital ghosts while side two is relentless, full on machine-dance that builds plenty of itchy tension and withholds anything as comforting as a drop or resolution.

Some tracks are redolent of Voice of America era, all hissing drum machines and burps of synth grit, while others refine the paranoid sample-collage of their 90s work.

Overall, a fantastic cloud of creeping cyborg-dub.
