I didn't know stripped down Dr. Dog was possible but here it is. And at its core is the same foundation that makes every Dr. Dog great, these are great songs with clever well-written lyrics and great melodies. Add to that great harmonies, multi-instrumentation, a hard to define era and genre and this sense that you are in a unique world of Dr. Dog's making.
