Ooh Rap I Ya Ooh Rap I Ya
Fantastic from start to finish, just like his last LP. Every track will be stuck in your head at some point. George doesn't miss.

    Vanda Vanda
Each track slowly introduces layer after layer, each new element a delicate balancing act of house and ambient. It's incredible how many different and complex pieces are fit together which push and pull between active and passive listening. There are so many ways to focus your attention (or not), like different vantage points to observe the music from. Vanda is perfection in this way.
Also, I never get tired of tapping along to the Andy Stott-esque bass lines :)

Like listening to gifted kids exploring music together and it is So. Much. Fun!

    by 아버지
when your world collapses when your world collapses
Everything here is washed in gray. Dull and deadened, like the thrum of an unplugged amplifier. And but there is life, detail, and depth in abundance. A careful, loving hand crafted these songs. The result, for me, is this backwards catharsis; powerful emotions come inside and die quietly.
Thank you for your beautiful music.

IB's music is so transcendentally beautiful that it lingers with you for hours and colors your perspective and glows with a soft warmth in your heart.
Thank you for all your work ♡
  10. "Raised For A Better View"
    by Cities Aviv
    Age Age
Cities Aviv creates an album full of blurred, stumbling, sparse, and abruptly shifting instrumentals. The beat is invisible or implied but you feel the groove. He fills the void with his voice. A landmark album for me and how I think about hip-hop.

난 괜찮다고 또 웃으며 Good Bye 난 괜찮다고 또 웃으며 Good Bye
Favorite vaporwave album. This album is dense and highly satisfying. A great sense of humor along side the sickly off-pitch nostalgia as well as variety of mood, ambience, and sample sourcing keep the album engaging from beginning to end. A few highlight tracks such as 3, 8, and 12 are carefully crafted to reach incredible levels of blissful disorientation that are proof positive this is far from just another lazy vaporwave album.

  20. Body Absolution
    by Five Star Hotel
    Yellow Knife Yellow Knife
A slight shift for 5 star in cleaning up the sounds and focusing on placemaking and ambience. 'Body Absolution' feels wonderfully cinematic with plenty of non-linear songs, rumbling bass, and beautifully engineered cyber-punk / industrial concrete elements and samples. That isn't to say it is without 5 stars usual blood-rush beats. As always, 5 star moves through tracks with pace and flows through the album well.
