Common uses for this album:
Taking a nap
Forgetting you problems
Basking in serenity
Realizing life ain't half bad
Turning that frown upside down
An afternoon vibe
Drifting of into sleep
Ending your day pleasantly
If you can get past the cringe factor, the music is great. The theme does help to add a feeling of fun nonchalant enjoyment, but it is a bit hard to get used to at first. Regardless, this is some great music. The dynamic change on Kawaii Desho is amazing btw
Moody, ambient and gorgeously composed. Amazing that Sleep Dealer is literally a one man band. Very calm, dreary and relaxing. You might even say... sleepy. Nice album to listen to while drifting off into dreamland.
A worthy successor to the original Ordinary Songs, which I consider to be a masterpiece of an album. In encapsulates the same feel as it's predecessor, while changing up the styles to be just enough by making it more electronic and future bassy. It even feels nostalgic at times by re-instituting melodies similar to some songs in the first OS. Fantastic album, hope we get an Ordinary Songs 3.
If you want to know what future bass really is, you have to buy this album. Many different and unique styles expressed on this album, to the point where it is one of the most unique albums I've ever heard. The Phuture Collective deserves to be recognized as some of the defining artists of future bass. Absolutely fantastic, 5 stars.
Macross has evolved from Future Funk into a genre of their own. This album encompasses even more styles than their previous album "CHAM!". With plenty of future funk songs, several incorporating rap, and the others being some amazing mix of future bass and chillwave. They did a great job of picking vocalists for the tracks, Cherry and Breath of the Wild truly standing out in that matter. Track 8 is beyond amazing as well.
This is not an album. It's a symphony of slowed down trap music in an underwater club. This album is pure atmosphere.
very good for listening when you would like some atmosphere
