This was the first Nile album I heard back when they were on tour for this album in '98 and I've been hooked on them ever since.This album is so groundbreaking and unique,different than any other bands around then or now.They basically invented the style and no one can compete with them. Love the rhythms and Middle Eastern angles, the powered up Drop A tuned distortion tone that I I think is just perfect for their style.The drums,all of it. Truly talented and original musicians with great ideas and they're still going.
