Another masterpiece by James and the Droopy Pigeonholes. From the brass kicking in in “I’ll Have Another One” you can tell it’s another evolution for the band. Some songs such as “JK” represent a feeling the newer crywank albums give, such as Egg on Face, while still being unique. A standout to me is “It Was A Swift Not A Swallow,” as it feels just like a full band rendition taken form the era of James is Going to Die Soon. Another amazing album, thank you.
