Rata Negra have always bounced around from their Punk sound to a more surfy kind of dark pop rock that harkens back to the Juanita Y Los Feos days. This record highlights the latter. With every release they are expanding their songwriting and honing their sound. It's only two songs and one is a cover. But this record is a winner and all the elements are present. Surfy Guitars, somber lyrics and catchy vocals. Rata Negra ia always interesting and Violeta siempre es encantadora.
