Another brilliant BaffleGab production: 10/10 - a superb drama, cleverly written. A perfect follow-up to their earlier, masterful MR James adaption.

  17. The Hellbound Heart
    by Bafflegab Productions
A truly fantastic AudioDrama adaptation of Clive Bakers infamous horror classic, better known as HELLRAISER. What’s truly great about Bandcamp is knowing that your listening to TRUE CD quality - unlike Audible (where quality is 80-90% less than CD quality & totally unsuitable for AudioDramas). It’s a real pleasure to know I’m listening to the real thing here without distortion. Thanks Bandcamp & Bafflegab for looking after your fans!
  18. Baker's End: The Happenstance Pox
    by Bafflegab Productions
I really did enjoy this rendition of Bakers End. This is one of my all time fav AudioDrama series. A comedic masterpiece by renowned author Paul Mgrs & featuring the iconic Tom Baker - a true genius at comedy. This is one truly mad romp through a fantastical world of the King of Cats & his friends. I can’t recommend this series more highly if u enjoy off-beat stories. If u enjoy this, don’t forget to also try Bafflegab’s marvellous series - The Scarifyers. And if u enjoy that fantasy comedy then try your hands with Jago & Litefoot, Time Waster (both comedic) and Pilgrim Vol.1-7 (a fantastic masterpiece of fantasy. But avoid the Audible ver. as the sound quality is incredibly poor. In fact, avoid Audible for any AudioDrama as their sound quality/ file size is comparable to only 20% of CD quality. ∴ you’ll experience distortion, clipping, loss of detail & especially the complete loss of 3D sound staging (which is present in all modern AudioDrama & such an amazing asset). Instead stick to Bafflegab & BigFinish digital OR otherwise physical CDs.
  19. The Scarifyers: The Gnomes of Death
    by Bafflegab Productions
This is seriously the funniest audiodrama series in existence. It’s a definite must hear for all you Jago & Litefoot fans out there.

Today I bought my 5th purchase from this series & I don’t intend to stop! Nicholas Courtney (The Brigadier from Doctor Who) is unreservedly bloody fantastic in his partnership with Terry Molloy (Davros from Doctor Who).

It’s supernatural goofiness at its best. And David Warner does a superb job filling Nicholas’ shoes upon his death. My 2 favourite titles of David’s being the Loch Ness & Hallows titles. Although the others are definitely worth buying as well.

Truth be told Bafflegab goes from strength to strength & I’m a very grateful supporter of their fine work.
