  1. Neō Wax Bloom
    by Iglooghost
  2. songs of descent
    by yautja
    denihilist denihilist
Complex, heavy, merciless, and downright scary.
  3. Despondent Transponder
    by Fleeting Joys
    Satellite Satellite
I think it would be too easy to compare this album to My Bloody Valentine. At least, Fleeting Joys goes a step beyond by creating a distorted narrative that seems to be more valuable, more tangible, more persistent than the somewhat shallow depths of "Loveless."
  4. as far as you can as fast as you can
    by White Lighters
    medicine medicine
This album is lullabylike, each song dripping with a sense of exhaustion. The lack of complexity and lyrical implications of self-loathing make it nothing short of relatable.
  5. I Hate Myself And I Want To Die
    by Yes Inferno
For Those Who Don't Show For Those Who Don't Show
The harmonious indulgence of poignancy and rage is undeniably beautiful. "I Hate Myself and I Want to Die" is underrated, instrumental poetry.
  6. Desire 願う
    by Mark Redito
If Not You Then Who If Not You Then Who
"Desire" is evidence that electronic music has the potential to impact its listeners on an emotional level while still retaining experimental, melodic qualities, sans the predictability of some other music in its vein.
  7. Notes From The Underground
    by Ridgeway
    Dichotomy Dichotomy
The only theme that seems to rival apathy in "Notes from the Underground" is passion; a harmonious battle between melody and distortion that goes beyond hometown garage-emo.
  8. Doubt
    by Tanner Merritt
    Wretched Things Wretched Things
Being a huge fan of his band O'Brother, I couldn't resist Tanner's solo album. It's very different yet very refreshing to hear his voice transform from haunting to slightly less haunting in "Doubt," much like the calm before the storm.
